The 'TIME' Collection is a collection of expressionistic surrealism created by Darius during the pandemic in 2020 as a reflection of grief, loss of time, and helplessness so many of us encountered in the blink of an eye. During the creation of these works, Darius practiced as a licensed psychotherapist treating grief during the pandemic which inspired this collection in an effort to cope with a collective trauma every community and household was affected by. The 9 abstract works selected for this collection both invite and speculate about how our collective grief can be both still and endless, irrational or illogical, yet communal in each persons journey toward acceptance and life after loss--including his own.
